Golden Sedayu congratulates Andrew Sugiaputra on his inclusion in the 2026 Business News Power 500, alongside so many respected leaders contributing to the growth and success of Western Australia.
This year’s recognition closely follows Burswood Point’s latest major infrastructure milestone, the completion of Racecourse Boulevard, which will connect the people of Perth to a previously unreachable stretch of prime riverfront foreshore.
Seeing the vision for this 38ha riverfront community take shape after so many years in the planning is a reminder of what can be achieved through long-term commitment, collaboration, and a shared belief in creating places that leave a legacy for future generations.
Western Australia continues to face important challenges around housing supply and urban growth. It is a privilege to play a role in delivering projects that contribute to the future of our community and help meet the needs of a growing population. It is testament to the strength and commitment of the Golden Sedayu Development and Construction teams, our shareholders, and our many trusted consultants.
Thank you to Business News for the recognition and congratulations to all those featured in this year’s Power 500.

Golden Sedayu is proud to be recognised in various high-profile categories in this year’s Business News Book of Lists.
The annual publication is widely anticipated for its data and insights highlighting the success of Western Australian entrepreneurs, executives and industry leaders across a range of sectors.
This year, the $4 billion Burswood Point masterplan ranked in the Top 10 Major Projects category, based on construction cost.
Somerset Residences – the first two premium towers at Burswood Point – also ranked No. 6 in the Built-form Developers category, based on the total value of WA projects currently under construction ($423 million).
Recognition such as this is a reflection of the hard work, talent and vision of the Golden Sedayu team and our project partners.

Our managing director @Andrew Sugiaputra shared an update on activities at Burswood Point.
This project is years in the making and is set to deliver 4,500 new residences, access to more than 30,000 square metres of retail and commercial space, a shopping centre, and a luxury hotel.
In addition, we’re collaborating with Main Roads on a multi-million-dollar upgrade to the Burswood interchange. We’ve also successfully negotiated with the State Government to open up Optus Stadium station for everyday use and are in discussions to expand Transperth’s ferry network.
