Burswood Point opened to the public for a Sneak Peek!

To celebrate the completion of Racecourse Boulevard, Golden Sedayu was finally able to welcome buyers and interested parties to a one-day-only Sneak Peek of Burswood Point, offering an opportunity to experience the scale of the development firsthand.

As a working construction site, this was the first time the site had been open to the public and the response was incredible. It was wonderful for visitors to immerse themselves in the exceptional location and panoramic views of the Swan River, Belmont Park and Optus Stadium

Driving down the boulevard, it’s easy to visualise the future vibrancy of the neighbourhood, which will be enhanced by the internationally acclaimed 5-star Anantara Resort, retail and dining precincts, entertainment offerings, expansive public open space and riverfront parklands.

If you missed out on the SNEAK PEEK, we invite you to view a short video of the event.

The transformation of the Burswood Peninsula has reached another significant milestone, with Golden Sedayu officially celebrating the completion of Burswood Point’s main thoroughfare, Racecourse Boulevard, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Golden Sedayu Managing Director Andrew Sugiaputra welcomed The Honourable John Carey MLA and Town of Victoria Park Mayor Karen Vernon along with valued project stakeholders and consultants who helped bring the boulevard to fruition.

Tracc Civil commenced construction in May 2025 and the 850m boulevard marks a major step forward in delivering critical infrastructure that will connect Graham Farmer Freeway to the future Burswood Point community.

Golden Sedayu’s experience delivering large-scale infrastructure and complex ground engineering works positions the company among a small number of WA developers capable of undertaking a project of this complexity.

The extraordinary scale includes the installation of more than 13,500 piles spanning a combined 200km in length – further than the distance from Perth to Bunbury.

The boulevard will officially open to the public this time next year, once Somerset East and West Residences and the first stage of exclusive green-title riverfront homes progress towards completion, marking the first time this section of the Swan River will be publicly accessible for more than 80 years.

We would like to acknowledge the strength of Golden Sedayu’s relationships with our consultants: Peritas Town of Victoria Park, Perth Racing, CMW Geosciences, SLR Consulting, Menard Oceania, Emerge Associates, KELLER, PLACE Lab, PHASE3 Landscape Construction, Studio CFM, Urbane , CU Building Group, ReGen Strategic, Napoli Chartered Accountants & Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.

As part of Golden Sedayu’s commitment to creating a vibrant and connected community at Burswood Point, we are thrilled to have completed extensive infrastructure upgrades that will create seamless access for residents coming home to Perth’s largest urban riverfront neighbourhood. The milestone was celebrated this week with Deputy Premier and Minister for Transport, Sport and Recreation Hon Rita Saffioti joining the Golden Sedayu Construction team and Managing Director Andrew Sugiaputra on site to celebrate the $30 million upgrades, which were jointly funded by the State Government. The significant works include a road network upgrade, a new pedestrian bridge over the Graham Farmer Freeway, and a short-span bridge that links the development with Victoria Park Drive, creating a convenient second point of entry.

Despite its already enviable proximity to abundant, natural recreational spaces, sports at Optus Stadium, entertainment at Crown Resort, gastronomical treats in Victoria Park, and the vibrant culture Perth City has to offer only 3.5km away, integrated cycle and walk paths will only enhance the highly desirable, easy-going lifestyle on offer at Burswood Point.

The completed works are an exciting precursor to another upcoming milestone – this month’s construction commencement of Somerset East and West. Construction of the Homes collection will follow shortly thereafter.

This past weekend, we proudly launched the second tower at Burswood Point, Somerset East — and the response exceeded all expectations.

Set against the stunning Swan River backdrop, Somerset East offers a refined lifestyle opportunity within Perth’s largest urban master-planned community.
The strong interest from future residents and the broader community reflects the confidence in the vision we’re bringing to life.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch, and to our exceptional team whose passion and expertise have brought us to this exciting milestone.

With construction commencing next month, Somerset East and West is now well and truly underway — transitioning from vision to reality. The journey at Burswood Point is just beginning, and we look forward to what’s ahead.

The Golden Sedayu Construction team has completed the setup of site offices and we are now fully mobilised for the exciting journey ahead.

One of the major milestones this month was delivery of the piling rig last week and commencement of piling this week. The first main pile of the two towers was successfully installed today, marking a critical step in the foundation works.

The scale of the piling process is significant, with a total of 177 piles to be installed between now and October. Each pile varies in diameter – either 600mm, 900mm, or 1050mm.

Following completion of the piling, bulk excavation will commence, which will allow for concrete pours and construction of the basement to begin.
