Golden Sedayu was proud to serve as the major sponsor of the Chinese New Year Ball 2024, co‑hosted by Western Australia’s Chinese diaspora communities, the Western Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC), the Chung Wah Association, and the Australia China Friendship Society of Western Australia, with support from a range of community organisations.

The event welcomed approximately 700 guests, including community leaders, members of local government, key stakeholders, Western Australia Premier Hon Roger Cook MLA, and Australian Prime Minister Hon Anthony Albanese MP.

During the evening, Golden Sedayu announced a $1,300,000 donation to the Victor Chang Foundation as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the Western Australian community. The contribution will take the form of Somerset West apartment 601, which will be sold or auctioned upon the project’s completion in Q4 2027, with the full market value donated to the Institute.
